I offer embodied movement classes, private sessions, and workshops via Zoom or in person in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Have you ever experienced an extremely stressful life event and afterwards realize that your body feels horrible?
Your mind processes and analyzes stressful situations, allowing you to understand and then hopefully release the stress. However, what you may not realize is that your physical body holds on to memories and stories longer than the mind. This results in: feeling stiff in your joints; experiencing aches and pains; finding it difficult to enjoy physical movements; feeling disconnected from your physical body; unable to have deep meaningful relationships or find your life’s purpose, and the list goes on and on.
By diving into your past narratives, you allow the body to creatively release old interpretations of what you believe to be Truth and bring in new thought patterns and manifestations with positive movement integrations. Using the elements (earth, air, fire, water) as a guide, you learn how to listen to the body and authentically move. Following only your body’s guidance, discover what needs to be moved out of your energy and body. Whether it is for releasing trapped emotions, negative thought patterns, or trauma, learning to use dance to heal old wounds takes your self-development and spiritual growth to the next level.
In this two hour workshop experience basic concepts of Embodied Dance. Learn how to use dance for healing, self-actualization, and spiritual growth.

This workshop is for ANYONE who desires personal and spiritual development, but is in search of doing it creatively from a place of truth rooted within the body.
No dance experience is necessary!
Make sure to wear comfortable clothes that allow a full range of motion as we will be moving on our feet and the floor (layers recommended). Bring a journal to take notes. And water and a snack if needed.
This class will explore the healing and awakening of the Root and Sacral Chakras. Students and instructor will create a safe space to enhance our awareness of our mind/body connection to the sacred feminine. Class will begin with a welcoming meditation then move into sensual movements and breath work designed to release negative energies, become more grounded, and awaken your inner Goddess. Wear layers and no shoes! (Knee pads optional)
